Dr. Dianna Elizabeth Joseph, DVM, is the owner and Medical Director of the Sandy Springs Animal Clinic and a 1999 graduate of the North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine. Her medical interests include metabolic disease as well as soft tissue surgery. With three dogs, one cat and one horse, Dr. Joseph still finds time to enjoy running and participating in equestrian events. “I love being the family pet doctor. I do my best to give pets and their owners 100 percent of my abilities at all times in hopes of gaining their trust and confidence in me.”
Dr. Peter J. Muller III, DVM, is a relief doctor at Sandy Springs Animal Clinic and the Medical Director of the Briarcliff Animal Clinic. He is a 1984 graduate of the University of Georgia and is board certified with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners (ABVP) in companion animal practice. His medical interests include cardiology, ultrasound and internal medicine. “I love working with families and pets to solve complicated medical and behavioral issues,” said Dr. Muller, who is a pilot and has used his airplane in a number of pet rescue missions. “Seeing a sick pet regain its spirit and start interacting with the family again is very rewarding.” Dr. Muller has a dog, Rudy, and two cats, Charlie and Einstein.
Andrea Powell, DVM
Dr. Andrea Powell, DVM, is a 2003 graduate of the University of Georgia and a 2006 graduate of the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and Purdue Vet School. Her medical interests include dentistry, internal medicine, behavioral issues and surgery. “My greatest reward as a veterinarian is helping those who do not have a voice for themselves,” said Dr. Powell, who enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time with her family that includes two dogs and a cat. “My own pets are part of my family and I strive to treat every pet I see with as much concern and attention as I would want for my own.”
